Domaine Clos du Calvaire| Françoise Roumieux, Owner

Located on the outskirts of the prestigious village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the family estate has been handed down through the generations, first by the Mayard family, then by the Roumieux family. Founded in 1923, Clos du Calvaire is now in the hands of new generations. Our philosophy is resolutely focused on respect for living beings and the ecosystem in which the vines take root. All our vineyards are farmed organically, with a focus on agro-ecology to enhance biodiversity and the sustainability of the Châteauneuf du Pape vineyard. Over the years, and thanks to the work of each generation of winemakers, our aim has always been to produce cuvées that reflect the authenticity of the grape varieties and the excellence of the terroirs of the Châteauneuf du Pape.
