Grape varieties : 40% Roussanne , 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Viognier

Appearance : Brillant yellow gold

Aroma : Intense and floral (acacia)

Taste : A complex mouth, perfectly balanced with lots of fat and an elegant freshness. Intense notes of custard, vanilla, apricot, grapevine and honey.

Finish : Long and tight

ABV : 13,5%

Serving temperature : 50 ° F

Pairing : Creamed or roasted white meat, red mullet with citrus sauce, turbot with saffron, goat cheese

Meet the Winemaker

Château Vignelaure | Mette and Bengt Sundstrom, Owners; Philippe Bru, Winemaker
Château Vignelaure was built in the late 60s, under the supervision of Mr Georges Brunet. At the end of 2007, the Scandinavian couple Mette and Bengt Sundstrom fell in love with the estate and bought it. A huge restructuration program followed, beginning with white grape plantation and organic conversion of the vineyard, then the refurbishment of the cellar with stainless-steel tanks in order to optimize the selection of grapes and vinification. The vineyard is offering 3 different cuvées: Château, Source et Page, all of them in red wine, white wine and rosé wine.
